Health Aid Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citratus) is a great tonic for body and mind helping to support immune system health and aid recovery from illness. It can be used to help with jetlag, headaches and reduce stress. Health Aid Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citratus) can also be used to treat respiratory infections and stomach problems as well as a treatment for athletes foot.

A cool, stimulating tonic. When used in a vapouriser can banish unpleasant smells. Good for tired sweaty feet and as a rinse for greasy hair.

Due to their rich aroma and fragrance, essential oils have been used since ancient times for their therapeutic and healing properties. Today, the art of using essential oils to promote health and well-being is called Aromatherapy.

Essential oils are highly versatile and can be used in a variety of ways such as room fragrances, bath oils, massage oils, perfumes, inhalations, natural preservatives and in cosmetic preparations.

HealthAid essential oils are pure and natural. Wherever possible, they are derived from wild-crafted sources then cold-pressed so that only the highest quality oils are extracted for our extensive range.
Directions
HealthAid pure essential oils can be used as essences in the bath or in vaporisers. They can also be used to make up your own massage blends having first diluted them in HealthAid massage oil base or lotion base. Best kept cool and used whithin one year of opening.

Warnings: Essential oils are generally intended for external use only. Cautions apply to the use of certain oils, especially during pregnancy. For external use only. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Keep out of reach of children . Avoid contact with sensitive areas such as eyes. Always use pure oils with caution. If in doubt, consult qualified person before use.

How to use:
Burners and vaporizers - In vapor therapy, Lemongrass oil can be used for nervousness and as an insect repellant. It is also great to revive the mind when feeling lethargic and to energize as well as relieving fatigue.
Blended massage oil or in the bath - Lemongrass oil can be used in blended massage oil or diluted in the bath to assist with cellulite, digestive problems, as a diuretic, for infections, nervousness, for over exerted ligaments and as a general tonic.
Cream or lotion - When used in a lotion or a cream, it has value in clearing cellulite, as well as toning the skin, opening blocked pores and helping with acne. The antiseptic properties are useful in treating athlete's foot and other fungal infections.

Lemongrass oil bplends well with basil, cedarwood, coriander, geranium, jasmine, lavender and tea tree.
