Health Aid Sage Oil (Salvia officinalis) has a strong herbal smell and often acts as a stimulant. It can help with the digestion, balance hromones and ease rheumatic pain. Health Aid Sage Oil (Salvia officinalis) also helps to ease sore muscles especially in the neck.

Although more commonly used as a condiment, Sage has stimulating, tonic and carminative properties and is useful in oral hygiene. Avoid if pregnant, epileptic or suffer from high blood pressure.

Due to their rich aroma and fragrance, essential oils have been used since ancient times for their therapeutic and healing properties. Today, the art of using essential oils to promote health and well-being is called Aromatherapy.

Essential oils are highly versatile and can be used in a variety of ways such as room fragrances, bath oils, massage oils, perfumes, inhalations, natural preservatives and in cosmetic preparations.

HealthAid essential oils are pure and natural. Wherever possible, they are derived from wild-crafted sources then cold-pressed so that only the highest quality oils are extracted for our extensive range.
Directions
HealthAid pure essential oils can be used as essences in the bath or in vaporisers. They can also be used to make up your own massage blends having first diluted them in HealthAid massage oil base or lotion base. Best kept cool and used whithin one year of opening.

Warnings: Essential oils are generally intended for external use only. Cautions apply to the use of certain oils, especially during pregnancy. For external use only. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Keep out of reach of children . Avoid contact with sensitive areas such as eyes. Always use pure oils with caution. If in doubt, consult qualified person before use.

Vapor therapy - Used in vapor therapy by means of a burner or vaporizer, this oil can be used to calm the nerves and help with grief and depression, while quickening the senses and aiding memory.
Massage oil or in bath - When blended as a very small part of a massage oil, or used very sparingly in the bath, it can help with female sterility as well as menopausal problems while boosting the urinary tract, liver and kidneys, lymphatic system, while relaxing the muscles and sorting out fibrositis as well as torticollis - a stiff neck - as well as trembling and palsy.
Cream or lotion - Although the risk of too much sage oil must be carefully weighed against the positive effect it can have, it can be used with success to reduce pore size, healing of sores, atonic wounds, psoriasis, dermatitis as well as ulcers.

Sage oil blends well with bergamot, lavender, lemon and rosemary.
