Prolactazyme Plus

BioCare Prolactazyme Plus assists with the breakdown and digestion of dairy products. It is highly recommended for those with lactose intolerance or stomach disorders such as IBS and colitis. Digestive Aids from Biocare - Prolactazyme Plus.

A Dairy Digesting Enzyme Complex which provides enzymes to assist with the digestion of dairy products. It contains high strength, biologically active lactase to digest milk sugar (lactose) into the simple sugars glucose and galactose. Vegetable rennin converts milk protein to casein allowing exposure to the protein digesting enzymes bromelain and papain. L.acidophilus and L. bulgaricus help with milk digestion by liberating 'on-site' enzymes in the gut and help maintain a healthy balance of intestinal microflora. One in 10 white europeans and 80% of non white races suffer from milk intolerance, the latter group of individuals due to a genetic lack of the correct enzyme secretion. Milk intolerance usually relates to an inability to digest lactose. However, there may sometimes be an intolerance to the protein in milk as well as malabsorption of milk fats.
Prolactazyme forte is the most potent enzyme complex available in the UK which has been designed specifically to assist with the complete digestion of milk and milk products.
Directions
One capsule taken with milk or dairy products or as professionally directed. Take with Polyzyme Forte® and Bio-Acidophilus for broader digestive support, or use alongside Lactase Enzyme for more specific support with dairy foods.

Vegetable Rennin (providing 12.3 Milk Clotting Units) 5.4mg, Bromelain (providing 100 gelatin digesting units (GDUs)) 42.5mg, Lactase (providing 3900 lactose units) 18mg, Lipase (providing 437.5 lipase units LUs)) 8.1mg, Papain (providing 5 papain tyrosine units (PTUs)) 3.5mg, Lactobacillus acidophilus (providing 150 million viable organisms, if stored correctly) 3mg , Lactobacillus bulgaricus (providing 50 million viable organisms, if stored correctly) 3mg , Amylase (providing 900 amylase units (AUs)) 1.5mg.
