Evening Primrose Oil is extracted from seeds of the plant Oenothera Biennis. Whilst there is a large selection of Evening Primrose Oil supplements on the market, this product boasts a high level (9%) of the essential fatty acid Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA).

Particularly known as a supplement chosen by women, Evening Primrose Oil can be beneficial in a number of other areas. GLA is known to be involved in the production of a number of short-lived factors called prostaglandins. These messengers play a major role in many functions such as mediating inflammation, and blood-flow to internal organs.

Many skincare creams and products also now contain either Gamma Linolenic Acid or Evening Primrose Oil. Vertase's formulation also has added Natural Vitamin E, which can help maintain healthy looking skin and a healthy immune system.
Directions
Adults and children over 12 years: Swallow 1 capsule a day, preferably with a meal.

Warnings: Do not exceed the daily dosage. Store in cool dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Women who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy should not take any nutritional supplements without first consulting their doctor or clinic. People with epilepsy should consult their doctor before taking this product.
