Wellman® Sport is an advanced, specialist supplement developed specifically for men training to excel in sports and fitness. The comprehensive formula helps to maintain optimum levels of nutrition and contains ingredients essential to support performance during sport and training. The formula is not a weight or muscle gain ‘protein’ type product which often do not provide a balanced source of the daily vitamins and minerals needed; rather it provides all round, balanced multivitamin support that can be taken every day.

Sport performance and nutrition: The link between nutrition and sport is now widely recognised and a number of studies have shown the relationship between nutritional intake and its effects on physical activities, whether it is for leisure or for high level performance. Ninety per cent of the 11,000 athletes in attendance at the Games of the 29th Olympiad 2008 used dietary supplements of some kind, according to the European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA).

• Nutritional status can have an effect on energy release and endurance during sporting activity. Exercise may also increase excretion of certain minerals.

Directions
