Health Aid Vitamin C Prolonged Release is exactly that - it releases a high dose of Vitamin C into your body throughout a 24 hour period. This helps to protect your heart, your immune system and act as a defence against bacterial infection. Not only that Health Aid Vitamin C Prolonged Release also provides anti-oxidant protection and anti-ageing benefits.

HealthAid Vitamin C is specially formulated to give a buffered tablet that does not irritate the stomach and is released gradually to provide a steady source of Vitamin C over a prolonged period of time. Vitamin C plays a vital role in maintaining healthy teeth, gums, skin, connective tissue and bones. It also functions as an antioxidant and may help to maintain healthy cells and blood vessels.

Vitamin C is not stored in the body, so daily intake is essential. Need for vitamin C is said to be for people on antibiotics, nursing mothers or people who have tissue injuries.
Directions
Adults and children over 12 years of age, one tablet daily after meals as a food supplement. Tablet not to be chewed. Swallow whole.
Tablet should not be chewed but swallowed whole. Store in a cool dry place, keep out of sight and reach of children.
In certain cases taking very high doses can cause stomach upset or diarrhoea. Reducing the intake reverses the effect.

Vitamin C: 1000mg

Contains bioflavonoids:
Rosehip powder: 50mg
Acerola powder: 25mg
Hesperidin powder: 20mg
Rutin powder: 20mg
Ingredients
Vitamin C ( ascorbic acid ), Bulking agent (Microcrystalline cellulose), Rosehip powder, Acerola powder, Hesperidin, Rutin, Anti caking agent ( *Stearic acid, *Magnesium stearate ), Protein coating.
