They're not the cheapest, but with 20g plus of protein per bar AND without the usual high fat/taste trade-off, they're the best. If you shop smart with these (like taking advantage of the deals on this website) you're getting great value for money. Both the Promax and the Promax diet bars are my absolute stalwarts - always on hand in the kitchen cupboard. Very tasty (unlike Maximuscle's cyclone bars - yyuuk) and a perfect MRP bar for me in every way, even if I do sneak in a couple of slices of ham by way of a starter! (The missus is not amused when I pull bits of ham out of my pocket whilst walking round the supermarket). Outstanding. In fact, I'm just about to eat one now! Plain chocolate is my fave but the choc/mint and choc/orange are lovely as well. You'd have trouble telling the plain chocolate in promax from a normal bar of plain chocolate from the sweet shop in my opinion.
