The 2 Years That Saw The CANCELLATION Of The World Cup : Fact #3

Not sure? I’ll give you a clue, think back to last week, more specifically the 6th June, 2014, 70 years on from the momentous D- day landings during World War II. Penny dropped now? The years 1942 and 1946 hosted a different type of war to the one kicking off in Brazil tomorrow, a bloody and cruel war. Mercifully, as Brazil take on Croatia tomorrow in what is the first of a months worth of footballing battles we can sit back and enjoy without listening out for the air raid siren!
