27 Year Old Female Breaks British Weight Lifting Record

Georgina Hudson, 27 years old from Market Drayton in Shropshire has broken a weight lifting record for her weight. In 2007 she crashed into a tree while riding her horse. She suffered severe injuries to her face and spine and was told she may be left paralysed. As part of her recovery she took to weight lifting in the gym and broke a British record of lifting 11 stone despite only weighing 7st 7lbs herself.

Such an inspirational story that just shows how dedication and perseverance can change the outcome in any given event. Well done Georgina and we look forward to hearing more about your achievements in the future :)
