There are few things that inspire me more than a person that can change a train of thought and break a mould. This particular mould wasn’t one that was set deliberately, but rather one that just …happened, and a player called Sim Bhullar became the first to break it. Sim Bhullar, an NBA player of Indian decent made his debut for Sacramento Kings, albeit a 16 second stint within a 10 day contract, that could potentially help him grow the stature of basketball in India, a nation that lives and breathes little more than cricket.
This man stepped out of his comfort zone, did something different, and pushed the boundaries when thousands before him couldn’t. Hats off to you Sim!
