ABS ABS ABS... How Do You Get Yourself A Six Pack??

It is on everyone's mind and how you achieve a great six pack is no secret, you just have to be willing to make a few sacrifices and put in a lot of effort, sounds achievable right? Do you want to know a few great exercises which will work your core and ab muscles WITHOUT having to do a single crunch? What, wait? That is right, I am telling you that you can still work your abs and achieve a flat stomach by not even working them (and doing a couple of other things along with it.) Switch Your Training...

If you are sick of not having a flat stomach and want to see some definition then you are going to need to switch up your training. Basically, whatever you are doing now, clearly isn't working for you so in order to see change you need to CHANGE what you are doing. So if you are regularly on the treadmill, cross trainer or the bike for an hour and then do some crunches.... this has to stop! Why? Because in order to see abdominal definition, your body fat needs to be low and performing resistance based exercises is going to do exactly that, BURN FAT!

Top 3 Exercises To Do Now...

Large movements that involve many muscles working at the same time burns more fat than anything else, makes sense right? So with this in mind the exercises you are going to perform are all compound movements which target multiple areas. Exercises that I believe are 'must do's' are as follows. Squats, Rows and Lunges. These three exercises are going to work many different muscles in your body and as a result of this you will burn way more fat!

Build Muscle...

Building muscle is not a bad thing at all as it helps stimulate your metabolism. Having lean muscle tissue as opposed to fat is going to shift your body into a fat burning machine, this is a great thing! So do not be scared of using weights, you will not get huge body builder like muscles. If you want to look slender, toned and awesome, use the weights from now on.

What You Eat...

This should come as no surprise that for you to see a flat stomach and abs you will need to eat good, quality food and cut out the rubbish. You will need to be strict and make sure you are eating healthy foods instead of sugary, refined foods that mostly store as fat in the body. So steer away from the fizzy drinks, alcohol, biscuits, cakes, sweets, takeaways etc as best as you can to give you the best chance of achieving great results.
