Some people just want to see results but don't actually want to do anything about it. Wanting and actually going out there and doing it are two completely different things. At first there has to be a want, a desire, a passion to lead you into doing something which you might have always wanted to achieve. Your goal could be a number of things like losing weight, gaining muscle mass, increasing strength, learning to swim, improving your running time, riding a bike and so on. The list is endless and having these goals are great for you, but the only way you are going to achieve one of these goals is by getting out there and doing it.
Some of the most common questions I get asked is how you can lose weight in the shortest amount of time possible? What diet do I need to go on so that I get rid of this unwanted fat on my body? Do I have to exercise? Can I still eat cheat meals and so on? What is the picture generating in your head from all these types of questions? Most of us want to put in minimal effort yet expect maximal results when trying something. If this is your way of thinking then it probably comes as no surprise why you haven't reached your goal and you are left wondering whether to bother again. You can't achieve your goal if you aren't fully prepared...
No More Talking
Staying on the theme of weight loss, how many times have you heard ''Oh, I will start my diet next week''. It is pretty common in the UK to hear such a line that is just a way of making ourselves feel better by tricking us into thinking we are going to be healthy. When in actual fact, if we really wanted to make a change we would do it today and not wait until next week. There is never a perfect time or opportunity to do something, there is no golden time. There has to come a time when you stop talking about it and put your words into action...
My Supplements Aren't Working
Ditch the excuses and take control of what it is you want to achieve. The amount of times I hear the words mumbled '' I'm using such and such but they aren't working for me'' is just nonsense. You can't blame the supplements you are using when you aren't putting in the hard work to start with. Sticking with weight loss as a goal of yours, if you are using a fat burner and diet protein but not eating properly or exercising enough you won't see results. BUT, don't blame your supplements for this as we know it is simply because you aren't doing the basics right.
Back To Basics
Let's just take a moment to re visit what the basics are as these should never be over looked whenever you are trying to achieve your goal. Exercise and eating a healthy, balanced diet should be the backbone of what you do on a daily basis. Eating to function and not for pleasure should also be monitored as choices we make in this department effect more than just our physical well being. Eating and drinking healthy choices help keep you in a positive mindset which allows you to succeed in goals you pursue. Don't forget the basics and try not to over complicate things by inventing the wheel.
No More Waiting
Hopefully reading this post inspires you to stop talking about achieving your goal but to get out there and DO IT! There is no better time to act than now so make the most of now and make it happen, only you can start the process, what are you waiting for... GO!
