Arnold Schwarzenegger: The Man Who Ticked EVERY Box

You come across people like Arnold once in a while, someone who can unequivocally say… I made it. I don’t mean this in an arrogant or self-indulged kind of way either, but Arnold, the legend of bodybuilding, the Terminator and the previous Governor of California, actually managed to tick off every single goal on his ‘Things to do in life’ checklist. And it wasn’t just any checklist either…

In chronological order Arnold wanted to achieve the following:
>Immigrate to America
>Move to California
>Become Mr. Olympia Bodybuilder
>Make A Million Dollars
>Become the #1 Actor in the world
>Get Elected for Governor of California
Arnold believes that the root to his success were the little life lessons he was taught from a very young age. One of the most prominent lessons was the 1 or 2 sets of press- ups Arnold’s Father made him do before he was allowed to eat his dinner or play with his toys. Arnold was taught the importance of having to earn his meal ticket or the right to do the things he wanted to.

The adage ‘you got to do what you have to, in order to do what you want to’ fits quite nicely here. Adhere to this rule in life, and there’s no reason why you can’t achieve everything on your ‘life’s list’.
