It recently became common knowledge that bodybuilding and movie legend Schwarzenegger practiced Transcendental Meditation, every day for a year in order to manage his anxiety. Arnold explains how he noticed his anxiety increasing proportionately to his success, so as his bodybuilding career skyrocketed, so too did his acting career, and as if this wasn’t enough, the man was even successful at investing in real estate!
So it’ll probably come as no surprise that he felt he needed an escape, and meditation did it for him… in fact, he claims it changed his life. Do you allocate time in your hectic schedule to rest, recuperate and gather yourself, or do all your tasks and every day practices run into one? Perhaps you should do what Arnold did…take time to breath, relax and remove your mind.
