How many of you have noticed dust on your cars in the morning? Have you recently had a sore throat out of the blue? There is a government warning to stay indoors due to giant clouds of Sahara sand covers Britain in smog. Pollution levels hit 10/10 and could harm people with difficulties breathing and advised to reduce the strenuous exercise that you perform outdoors. If you have noticed you are developing a sore throat or cold then you should certainly rest.
A met office forecaster has said this has happened before and for it to happen there has to be the right elements.
Those that are elderly, suffer with asthma or have other medical conditions are urged to take it easy and watch how you go. The dust can harm your breathing so keep an eye on that and take with you any medications you use if you are going outdoors.
