Some of you lead really busy lives but there should never be an excuse that means you can't workout, in my eyes there is always time. If it means waking up 30 minutes earlier or going to bed 30 minutes later, if you want to make a change on the way you look, then you have to be prepared to put the minutes in. The fashionable excuse I hear a lot is that the gym is closed by the time you want to go or you don't really like being in there. Well guess what, that is fine because here is my version of an ultimate cardiovascular workout which is going to have you feeling pumped and great!!
Body Weight Isn't Great
Some of you reading this already will be telling yourself that body weight workouts are a waste of time and the only way you can get a good workout is through lifting heavy dumbbells, time to think again people!! Body weight workouts can increase strength, burn fat and are fun to do, you don't even have to leave your house! If you are in a rush or only have 30 minutes to spare, this workout will make you feel like you have done something rather than feeling guilty you skipped it.
What Exercises Are In The Workout
All your favourite body weight exercises are in this workout, so don't worry, I will be sure not to leave any good ones out. As this is a body weight workout that is concentrating on building cardiovascular strength, the exercises are suited to this and will work you really hard. Each exercise will be performed for 30 seconds and then you move on to the next one. Only rest when you need to and try to go for as long as possible, if you do need to rest make sure it is only for 30 seconds - one minute. Here it is...
Perform 3 rounds of this which totals to 30 minutes and then you are done! Don't forget to drink your BCAAs throughout to enhance your performance and keep stamina levels up. Ensure you have your post workout protein shake too which will aid in recovery and help your muscles from aching.
