Football is an unpredictable game, that’s what makes it one of the most entertaining and dramatic sports in the world. This was dramatically demonstrated in last night’s semi- final match between Brazil and Germany when the Germans trounced the host nation 7-1…yup, 7-1! It was a historic night for many reasons, Klose, the German striker scored a record number of goals surpassing the Brazilian Ronaldo by 1 goal (as if to rub salt in the Brazilian wounds). It was also the largest semi- final win, as well as the fastest 5 goals scored in history…what a story!
It was hard to watch as Brazil, who have such a rich world cup history, suffered big losses in the form of Neymar and their captain Silva, which then transferred through to a massive defeat on the pitch! The hosts are out, the Europeans march on…
