Struggling to justify spending your money on food to get bigger and gain muscle mass? Here are a list of foods you can buy that will add SIZE and SAVE you money, it's a win win!!  Protein and calories are what you need, so lets have a look at what I suggest...

Chicken Thighs - A cheaper source of protein compared to buying chicken breasts. They will still offer a good source of protein and low in fat.

Protein Shakes - You can't go wrong with buying a tub of protein powder to keep your protein intake high throughout the day. Perfect to have with you in your bag and call upon it when you need it! Beats buying Ready Made Drinks that cose £3 or £4 a go.

Milk - If you aren't lactose intolerant then get on this! Milk is cheap and guzzling a pint of milk a day will give you a 30g surge of protein and 300 calories. Cheap and easy too.

Peanut Butter - Peanut butter can be applied to any of your foods. Sandwiches, meals, snacks, you name it there is a place for peanut butter. Good source of protein and healthy fat.

Baked Potatoes - Potatoes are a good carbohydrate source to accompany your chicken thighs. Baked potatoes are cheaper than sweet potatoes and offer a good amount of nitrates per potato. In case you didn't know, nitrates help with energy while you train ;)

Pulses an lentils - Awesome way to pack in calories into your diet. Using different pulses and lentils can be added to any meal too. They have a good amount of protein and are good for you!
