CM Punk : WWE Wrestler To UFC Competitor!


The big news in the sporting world at the moment is the announcement that WWE Superstar CM Punk is going to leave wrestling and enter the octagon! Last Saturday night saw the announcement made, with Phil Brooks (CM Punk) ceremoniously declaring that he will leave WWE Wrestling and enter the world of MMA!

Going from spandex tights to four- ounce gloves is going to be a harsh switch, but it’s one that doesn’t seem to bother CM Punk, having signed a contract with the UFC in the last few weeks!

The announcement has caused quite a stir, with notable fighters calling him out including Brit Michael Bisping and Al Iaquinta. They all obviously want the big money bout, as CM Punks entrance is bound to draw some BIG attention!
