Commonwealth Games Expected To Have A BIG Following Despite Wake Of World Cup

With the Commonwealth games opening ceremony due to get underway tomorrow, we are massively encouraged by the forecast of viewers expected to tune in to celebrate the ceremony. The potential global audience is around 1.5 billion, much more than expected, particularly considering this follows the biggest sporting event on earth...the World Cup. The ceremony will understandably tap into Glasgow's heritage, so expect to see lots of kilts, tartan, bagpipes and much more the personifies the history of Scotland. However, David Zolkwer, the organiser of the opening ceremony (previously organised the 2002 games) is keen to embrace the heritage of all of the other countries coming to Glasgow, to make the whole experience one of unity...so looking at what people have in 'common' rather than what makes us different.

Roll on the games, we're ready and waiting to watch, support and enjoy!
