Your Competition Is What You See In The Mirror... YOU!

How do you stay motivated? How do you stay inspired to carry out what you want to do? Questions like this are ones that are often asked and some people are naturally born with the will power whilst others have to go out there and earn it. But how do you deal with the self doubt, how do you stay positive and what is going to make you a champion of your own destiny? Here are some great tips on how to stay motivated especially during those down times when you feel like you will never make it...

Your Competition..

Believe it or not but your only competition is what you see in the mirror, that is yourself. You are your biggest competition and in order to get on in life and achieve goals, you must be willing to accept this. The fact is, there is always going to be someone different, better, stronger and you can never change that. So the bottom line is that you can only ever focus on you and what you need to do to get yourself there! Whatever your goal is you need to make sure you attack it and go after it until you reach it.

Self Talk

You know guys, the biggest thing you can do each day is to tell yourself each day you can do it. It might sound ludicrous, it may seem odd but if you just tell remind yourself throughout the day to keep going, you will! It is all a state of mind and you have to put yourself in a positive one in order to achieve goals. Your goals are not going to be easy to complete, they will require effort and you will have to make sure you are motivated enough to make them come true. Self positive talk will always keep you motivated as it will always remind you of what you want to achieve.

Remember Why 

Finally, remember why you started throughout the course of your journey. You embarked on this tough road for a reason and to remind yourself of it is a good thing. You should know that in order to grow you are likely to fail first, there will be ups and many downs during your time spent achieving your goal. As long as you always have in the back of your mind why you want to achieve your goal, you will make it to the end.

Truth is guys, not many people reach the end goal because it is hard, it requires effort and sacrifices which people aren't willing to make. They see goals as short term remedies and not long term fulfillment's and this is why you will meet people that are quitters and those that are champions. You see, you need to tell yourself you are a champion and I don't mean in the sense that you are going to lift a trophy, or be crowned great at something. No, you need to be a champion within yourself and be relentless in achieving what it is you want.

Weight loss. Muscle Gain. Be Fitter. Healthier. Whatever it is, promise yourself that once you start, you will never look back! Go after it :)
