The world of sports supplements is constantly evolving, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down with the most recent developments in creatine. Manufacturers have now started to combine nitrates with creatine, producing creatine nitrate. The rationale behind this development is twofold…1.) The ergogenic benefit of creatine is PROVEN, and 2.) The ergogenic benefit of nitrates is PROVEN.
Simple as that then right? If they work in isolation, then they’re bound to work together? Well the theory is sound enough, but as yet there is little information supporting this.
Many of you may already be consuming a pre-workout which contains both l-arginine and creatine, which exerts similar biological effects as creatine and nitrates would. So without the backing of scientific, peer reviewed articles as yet, you could go on your previous experience and receptivity to both creatine and nitrates in isolation, and if you found these to be effective then maybe this will follow on to creatine nitrate?
It’s an interesting theory!
