Creatine increases perfomance and recovery, it is one of the best supplements which has been around for years that helps you with your training. Make sure however that you are checking how much creatine you take in a day as you only want to have 5-10g. Your protein or pre workouts may contain creatine and therefore supplementing with another creatine supplement might be giving you too much.

Be sure to check how much creatine you are having daily and give yourself a 4-6 week break from it after each cycle.
