It has been no secret for more than 2 decades, David Beckham does alright financially. From his time as a pro at Manchester United, through to his fashion empire that keeps on growing and growing today, Mr Beckham is astute when it comes to money.
So astute is the man, that he just managed to surpass his best ever year financially, and it comes just one year after retirement from football. Beckham posted his highest earnings of $75 million for 2014, a considerable increase on his previous $51 million from 2012. He is second only to Michael Jordan in the Forbes richest retired athletes.
Financial gain is NOT the measure of a man, however it must feel pretty good to see a six figure sum at the end of your yearly pay- check.
Congrats to brand Beckham and co.
