If you have recently been dieting then it is important when you get to your desired weight you do not ruin it by eating more than what you should. Did you know that you should perform something called Reverse Dieting which means you slowly put back calories into your body. This is because when you diet you slowly lower your metabolic rate due to the less frequent amount of calories you consume on a regular basis. Therefore eating vast amounts above what your body can burn will result in weight gain and cause you to diet again. This process is called yo yo dieting and is very popular amongst people who aren't familiar with reverse dieting.
So if you have recently been on a diet and now introducing more food, or you have competing in a show then reverse diet so that you slowly work with your body and don't put on lots of excess body fat. Reverse dieting is about slowly putting in calories each day so be sure to monitor how you feel and only increment with 100-200 calories extra per day until your metabolism is back up to speed
