Double The Price Of Sugary Drinks And Food??

WHATS IN THE NEWS logo

Researchers are saying that there should be sugar tax placed on drinks and food that ruin our health. Fizzy drinks and sweet treats should be doubled in price to prevent an epidemic of tooth decay, according to researchers. They are calling for a 100 per cent sugar tax to be slapped on soft drinks and confectionery to deter the public from consuming such vast quantities.

What are your thoughts? Should these items cost the customer more to prevent them from over doing it?
