How many of you drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up? Did you know by drinking a glass of water within 10 minutes of rising will tell your body you are ready to start your day. This means your metabolism will kick start and the bodily functions will begin activating. Imagine not drinking a single drop of water throughout your working day for 8 hours, you'd feel thirsty and dehydrated, right? Well, this is exactly the same after a nights sleep and therefore by drinking some water as soon as you wake will help kick start your metabolism and re hydrate your body.

Quick Tip - Leave a glass of water by your bedside table the night before so as soon as you wake it is there and you can drink it.
