Eat A Handful Of These To Keep You Fuller For Longer

So who can guess what food will stave off hunger pangs and keep you from craving sugary foods? Is it protein or carbohydrates? It's neither as it is actually healthy fats which are designed to help send chemical messages to your brain letting you know you are full. What's more is healthy fats such as nuts, seeds, avocados and coconut oil to name but a few are great for our health. These types of foods help reduce heart disease, strokes and can also lower your cholesterol.

A handful of nuts as a snack, cooking with coconut oil and including avocado or seeds in with your salad will improve your diet and can help you lose body fat. These monounsaturated foods are great for your skin too and contain a good amount of omegas 3,6,9 fatty acids which can help with increasing brain function.

My advice is to stick with unsalted, non roasted nuts like almonds, cashews, walnuts and brazil nuts! Include 2 or 3 handfuls per day to get a good amount of healthy fats.
