How many of you eat dairy before you go to sleep and have racy dreams? For the last few nights I have been eating eggs before sleeping and my dreams haven't been nightmares, but they have consisted of some rather weird things happening. Is their a direct correlation between consuming dairy before bed and having weird dreams? Now, most research suggests that this is a myth and it can't be true.
Is there a connection between this dairy products and what happens when we sleep? I know for a fact it certainly changes my dreams and how I sleep when I eat dairy products like eggs before sleeping. Does this affect you? Studies do show that there are changes when tested on different people, however there is no direct reason why this is. What is also interesting is that when I have a Casein protein shake before bed, ( which is a milk based drink) I do not have the same night's sleep when compared to eating eggs. Strange right? Why not try it out for yourselves and see what happens if you consume milk, eggs or cheese before going to sleep.
