Something that I have recently been hearing is that you should only eat fruit on an empty stomach? This is because if you eat it with another food source like protein(meat) it will slow the rate at which it is processed through your body and could start to ferment. It is meats in particular that could be a problem due to them taking up a large space in the stomach and as a result the fruit you consume will take longer to process and be digested many times than needed.
I don't believe in this and I think people are using logic to over rule science. Although the logic is rational and there could be some truth in the fact that fruit being digested more than it should could turn your body acidic. At this time there is no science however which backs this statement. In my opinion, try focusing on what times you have your fruit as opposed to what you have it with :)
