A study has begun in Florida with women who have mild to moderately high blood pressure to assess if eating a handful of strawberries a day will make any difference in lowering it. Strawberries are rich in antioxidants, which may lower blood pressure which may relax the lining of the blood vessels. They are also very high in vitamin C which has a number of functions in the body including you fighting fit and strong against infections.
