A very recent study has found that taking short strolls round the block is better for you than running a marathon. According to this study, extreme fitness routines can cause memory problems, tooth loss, poor fertility, poor sex drive and poor immunity to infection. The study was done by Danish investigators who looked at 5,000 people over a 12 month period.
I personally have an extreme fitness regime and certainly do not suffer from the above, if anything I feel more alive and alert with full health when I am training and being active.
