The Foodini : The Food Printer That Prints Your Food, Yep, You Read That Right…

FACT-OF-THE-DAY-logo

Ladies and gentleman, there appears to be a new kitchen appliance that claims to be a recipe (no pun intended) of technology, food, art, and design…an interesting concept I think you’ll agree? The ‘printer’ as it’s known is quite apt based on the fact that functions very similar to the Hewlett Packard you might have in your home. The prototype machine is programmed to process the raw ingredients of say a cookie, meaning all you have to do is place in the ingredients, and the Foodini will mix them and print them…how crazy is that.
It’s difficult to describe how this machine does this, but the manufacturers (and critics alike) believe that this may encourage people to use real, wholefood ingredients in the future, and is likely to become common place in people’s kitchens. Don’t get too excited yet though as this piece of kit comes with a rather hefty price tag of around £1000!

For a little more info on this you can check out their site, otherwise hang around and see what the Foodini has in store when it’s released!
