When you are cutting and are constantly lowering your calories you are also lowering a hormone within the body called leptin. When this happens and it is likely to happen, burning fat becomes a problem and much harder to do. You might find yourself asking why you aren't burning as much fat as before. When this happens give yourself a Re Feed which simply means you increase your carbohydrates by 100% pushing your calories up to normal levels. What does this do? This will help boost your metabolism and kick start your fat burning process all over again :)
