Are You Giving Up Everything For January?

Christmas is over and we are officially into the new year having made new promises to ourselves about leading a healthier and happier lifestyle. How many of you have decided that for January you aren't going to drink any alcohol, eat bad food and give your body a cleanse? Is this really worth it just for one month? ''It is always a mistake to think you can undo the sins of 11 months in just one'' says Sir Ian Gilmore, special adviser to the Royal College of Physicians on alcohol.

Alcohol is probably the biggest thing to give up in an attempt to cleanse the liver and help it regenerate. Is it worth giving up alcohol and other bad things if for the other 11 months you are going to include these back into your diet?

I personally think instead of cutting it out these foods altogether it would be better long term to reduce these bad foods and drinks over the course of time. By doing this it is more likely you won't binge back on them and stick to a happier and healthier lifestyle :)
