Glasgow Games Don’t Compare To London ~ Usain Bolt : Athletics Legend Slams Scotland’s Games

Just because one person say’s something is so, doesn’t mean it is. Opinions are like a*** holes, and we all know that everyone’s entitled to one of them…but when it’s Usain Bolt cursing your Commonwealth Games hosting skills, you sort of have to take note. This said, we all know Usain is a bit of a party guy outside of the professionalism he displays on the training track and games, so maybe he found Glasgow less glitzy compared to London. Who knows, what we believe though is that Usain was overheard saying that the Commonwealth Games are “a bit sh*t”…what can you say to that. The thing is though, should you ask most of the other, lower profile athletes what their opinions are of the games, no doubt they’d be very happy with how things are proceeding.
Heck, London was a fair old show to follow, maybe he isn’t comparing apples with apples there. The Commonwealth Games are affectionately known as the ‘friendly games’, but I think it’s fair to say that Mr Bolt’s comments were not quite as friendly as the Scott’s would have hoped!
