Grenade AT4 : Fenugreek Extract EXPLAINED

Grenade have released a new fat burning, metabolic boosting, and muscle building supplement to their ever growing's called Grenade AT4! You may be familiar with their Grenade Thermo Detonator which delivers fat burning ingredients such as Green tea, bitter orange peel, caffeine, cayenne, phenylanine and green coffee. These ingredients help to boost fat burning through a thermogenic effect i.e. increasing the metabolism and partially suppressing appetite. Grenade AT4 works via a slightly different fat burning mechanism…the hormones. This hormonal response is caused by the addition of Fenugreek extract, a medicinal plant of Indian and North African origin. The seed of Fenugreek is dried and ground and added to sport supplements for their ability to increase testosterone levels, improve exercise performance as well as boosting metabolism. An increase in testosterone can boost muscle anabolism (growth) which in turn burns more calories supporting weight loss. Fenugreek is also seen to reduce blood sugar levels, so has historically been used as a form of Diabetes symptom control (seek advice of a Doctor prior to using Fenugreek if you’re Diabetic), which also helps to limit fat storage. Fenugreek has been seen to stimulate the release of insulin from the pancreas, as well as increasing the number of insulin receptors in the muscle. On top of this, Fenugreek is thought to inhibit some of the enzymes needed to breakdown sugars and starch, meaning we excrete more and store less as fat.
