Growth : It's A Physical & Mental Process!

Hi guys, today I’m speaking about the physical and metaphorical process that is growth. Now starting out at anything can be a daunting experience, not knowing which direction it’s going to take you is tough, but you know what’s tougher…failure, and you know what’s tougher further still…the failure to have even tried. To those of you who have embarked on your journey to grow, I commend you because it’s not the critic that counts, it’s the person that’s actually in the arena, the person that’s trying to grow into their skin. So when you start something see it through, and if you start to lose sight remind yourself why it is you started in the first place.

Just because you aren’t seeing the gains you perhaps hoped you’d see straight away, don’t give in. If you’re not seeing the weight loss that you planned on the scales then maybe you’re putting on muscle so maybe you need to measure inches. If you weren't seeing the improvements that you wanted to see in your race time, remember that physiological adaptations take weeks and months. If you feel like the weights and diet isn’t going as you planned initially then change it up a little bit, have a rest and remember you grow when you rest.

There is always a way…sow the seed now, to harvest the rewards later.
