A new study on marital satisfaction and weight gain found that newlyweds who are satisfied with their marriage are most likely to gain weight. They are also more likely to remain married for a longer period of time, extending the initial weight gain to a point which can negatively impact health.
If you are utterly unsatisfied with your relationship, there is some good news when it comes to your weight. You are far less likely to gain weight and much more likely to hit the gym regularly in order to look your best...who knows why that is.
When it comes to relationships and weight management, the link appears to be far more related to appearance than health or well-being.
