The Health Benefits Of Using These Spices

Did you know that individual spices added to your foods can increase the rate at which your body will burn fat as they can raise your metabolism. They also have other health benefits so if you are feeling creative in the kitchen, here are some spices you can add to your meals.

Turmeric - This yellow powdered spice tastes great on food and will discolour foods its natural colour. It is great for whitening teeth, but please dont add it to your toothbrush ;)

Cayenne Pepper - Hot and spicy which contains lots of vitamins especially a high concentrate of Vitamin A. Having a strong vitamin count makes it a great antioxidant spice to use on foods.

Cinnamon -  Sprinkling this onto your foods will increase your metabolism and can help increase cognitive function. Fat burn and a brain simulator all in one :)

Cumin - This spice can help fight infections within the body. So if you start to feel a cold coming on, add cumin to your meals and let the spice fight the bad guys for you.

 

Be sure to include some of these spices onto your meals to enhance flavour and also to give your body the natural defences it needs.
