''I Don't Need My Kidney To Knit'' 85 Year Old Woman Donates Kidney

A lady aged 85 years old has become the oldest person in the UK to donate a kidney while staying alive. She said she doesn't need both to sit at home knitting whilst watching television. Around 300 people die in the UK awaiting a kidney transplant and now she has potentially saved someone's life by doing this kind act. She also wanted to remain anonymous which shows in itself that she is one of life's remarkable people that just wants to give back to her community.

Great to hear and read, this was a healthy transplant and the lady is fit and well.  A great thing to hear on a Monday morning which should bring a smile to your face :)
