Instead of sticking with the traditional bench press techniques on chest day, try mixing it up a little by introducing the guillotine press. The guillotine press is slightly different in that it will recruit more chest muscle fibres than a regular press, but do note that this move is a lot harder to perform. You might initially feel it more in the shoulders but fear not you will be targeting the chest, just keep with it. How does it work? Well, you are simply lowering the bar towards your adams apple replicating the word 'guillotine' and keep your arms wide. This works because when you lower the bar here and it allows the chest muscles to move through a greater range of motion, therefore allowing more muscle growth!
