Help Increase Your Tan With These Healthy Foods

With the sun being out, many of us will want to get out there and absorb as much of it as we can which makes us feel great and look healthy. A reason for being out in the sun is the Vitamin D we absorb and the increased levels of sun help give our skin a healthy glow. Different people have different amounts of melanin in their skin which dictates the rate at which your skin tans. Other ways to help give yourself a healthy glow is by eating leafy vegetables and paying attention to green and yellow those in particular, which contains a good amount of beta carotene.

Vegetables like - Carrots, Spinach, Pumpkin, Cabbage, Bell Peppers, Kale and so on.

Vegetables that are high in Vitamin A help amp up the amount of melanin produced in your body. These include - Brocolli, beetroot, peas, tomato juice, apples and lemons.

So, get out in the sunny weather, increase your leafy vegetable in take and avoid using the sun beds!! Have a great day :)
