It’s Never Too Late To Get Physical!

Whatever your age, the benefits associated with physical activity drastically outweigh the negatives. Recent information has demonstrated the benefit of starting exercise as late in life as your 60’s! Many people exercise into their 60’s, 70’s and 80’s+, but it is also thought that you it’s never too late to reap the health promoting benefits of exercise.

New research in the British Journal of Sports Medicine suggests that regular exercise in your 60’s can still reduce the risk of dementia, alzheimers, heart disease, stroke and diabetes. After an 8 year follow up, researchers found that participants were defined as healthy and not suffering from major chronic, mental or physical illness.

That’s all the incentive I need!
