I don’t consider this a significant piece of news in the slightest, but it did make me laugh! A Mother enters Morrisons to buy 2 packs of steak for a family meal, but is promptly told she cannot buy such a large quantity in one go as ‘she has to leave enough for others’. Understandably Nicola Hicks, 42, was a little shocked and embarrassed so decided to contest this only to be told she had to leave some for other people to buy. The steaks were not in short supply, nor were they discounted in any way (not that this should matter), and yet she was forced to give money to another customer in order to get the quantity of meat she required!
Strange Morrisons, very strange. Reports suggest Mrs Hicks is yet to receive an apology.
