Are You Making The Most Of Your Workouts???

''Are you making the most of your workouts'' should be a question you ask yourself daily to keep yourself on track when working towards your goals. Each and every workout should leave you feeling like you couldn't physically do anymore in that single session and if you aren't feeling like it, well you need to up your game. Here are some tips and reasons why it's important you don't just turn up to the gym but you also put in 100% because without it, you won't be seeing the results you want.

100% Effort

It's easy to get distracted talking to your buddies when in the gym and being friendly is all part of the experience. I think it's great that you can workout with friends and build a community within such a place, but there needs to be a time when you quit talking and crack on with your body parts you need to work on. As soon as the friendly catch ups are over with it's time for you to put your head down and get to work, because this is what you are here to do, put in work! A good way to minimise further distractions is to have headphones in as people tend to not disturb as they think you're in your own little world, it's a good anti distraction technique ;)

Business Meeting

Treat each workout as if you were going into a business meeting with colleagues at work to get the best kind of workout! What does this mean exactly? Well it means turning up on time and giving it everything you have. When you have a meeting with someone you make sure the topic you're talking about is appropriate and you know your stuff right? It is exactly the same when you begin your workout, because if you don't you will walk into the gym with no real clue of what you're doing and this can lead to half hearted sessions, something you don't want!

Working Hard Enough

You'll know if you have worked hard enough because you won't be able to do any more when wanting to leave the gym. Not every session has to consist of using heavy weights but you have to make sure you push yourself enough and a clear way of knowing this is by making sure you sweat. Some people find it difficult but no one has had a session with me and hasn't sweat, so I know you can too. If you push yourself hard enough you will perspire and this is a good sign as it shows you're working your body hard!

Finish Every Set Strong

Each and every set you perform you must be willing to finish it strongly by completing the set amount of reps and in some cases, doing more than what you originally set out to do. Sometimes when you are getting to the end of your set and you really feel the burn it's easy to think to yourself ''I've done enough'' but the truth is you have to keep going and push through this. In all your workouts it's a case of breaking your mental mindset and going beyond what you think you can do.

Remember in every session you need to be giving your ALL so that you can results as quickly as possible! You can do it!!
