Male Bodybuilder Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Phil Clarke, 50 years old and a father of four has been diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump whilst working out in the gym. Breast Cancer only affects just one in every 100,000 men and only occurs in approximately 350 men in the UK. Mr Clarke, worked out an average of nine hours a week, didn't smoke and ate a healthy balanced diet.

Thankfully, Mr Clarke has had an operation to remove his nipple and as a result remove the tumour from his body.

He is now raising more awareness about this as he didn't know that breast cancer could affect men. We are pleased to hear he is on the mend and everything should be ok. Hopefully you'll be back in the gym in no time :)
