How To Maximise Your Best Workouts By Following These Simply Steps....

A big question you should ask yourself is why do you workout? Why do you put in the minutes daily to achieve your goals? Hopefully most of you will answer this because you want to change something about yourself and to lead a healthier lifestyle. When you workout it is very easy to make it more of a social event than a time where you need to put in hard work and effort. The point I am making is that when you dedicate the time to workout you need to treat it like a business meeting, never be late and turn up ready to show them who is boss. In this instance when you arrive to the gym, it is time to make every minute count because this directly reflects upon your results you see.

Maximising Your Workout

Here are some great steps to follow to ensure you are on track every time you step foot in the gym. EVERY session has to count otherwise your gym membership payments are a waste of money. Your time is being wasted and the supplements you use are going to waste also. Follow these pointers and you will be even closer to reach your goals...

It is very likely that when you begin exercising, switch gyms/clubs/bootcamps you will meet new, friendly like minded people. It's great to make friends and is awesome on a whole that the fitness community is so welcoming and accepting. It is great that at whatever level you are at there is someone who can help you, spot you and assist you. Saying hello and helping someone is great but remember you have a job to do. Your workout should come first and that means knuckling down and stay uninterrupted by the fact your buddies are there also.

Mobile phones

If you are like me and have your mobile phone on you whilst in the gym to play music then here is a real quick solution that will stop any distractions. 'Airplane Mode' in the settings allows your phone to become disabled which means no messages will come through. You can play your music freely and continue to kick ass with your workout.

Have A Plan

You should know what you are doing before you get to the gym and not just seeking whatever free equipment is there to use. The best way of executing this is to have a log book with you so you can write everything down and record what you are doing. This helps at the time and in sessions to come so that you can see natural progression within your sessions.

Don't Be Afraid To Sweat

Women in particular, don't be afraid to sweat. Don't be worried that you are working so hard that you don't think you look attractive. This is your workout, no one cares if you don't look great, you have work to do and guys should be working too and not starring at you. Put the work in, go hard!

Follow these simple steps and watch your workouts soar above where they have ever been, you can do it!
