Obesity could be considered a disability, the European Court of Justice has ruled. Is this controversial news? The reason this has come to light is because of an American employee was sacked for being too fat. In my opinion it's in an Employer's best interests to have his/her staff fit and healthy so they are more productive and less likely to take sick days.
