Your Six Pack Shopping List....

Do you want a flatter stomach or are you looking for that six pack? Either way, what you eat is ultimately going to determine how this works out for you. I want to give you a great shopping list you can use when you next go to the supermarket so that you know what foods will help you achieve your goal. I personally think having a flat, toned stomach or a six pack is the pinnacle of fitness which most of us strive to have. We all have to exercise and rest accordingly too, but the foods we choose to eat will determine how quickly and effectively we complete the goal in mind....

Your Supermarket

If you could take a birds eye view of your local supermarket you will notice very quickly that most of the healthy food is tucked away on the outskirts in the stores, leaving bargain offers on processed foods within your reach. Is this done on purpose? Who knows but what is important is that you know the layout so you know which aisles to avoid. This is key because when you avoid certain foods the last thing you want to do is be tempted by them, so ignoring their existence altogether is the best thing.

Your Route

So at the front of most supermarkets are fresh fruit and vegetables to choose from which is of course, fine to do. Then you want to make your way to the back and sides because this is where you will find your other healthy bits and pieces. Think I'm talking a load of old rubbish? Have a look the next time you go to the supermarket and see for yourself, the foods you don't want are everything you'll see, unless you look for these foods ;)

Your List

Fresh Fruit

Fresh Vegetables

Sweet Potatoes

Brown Bread

Fresh Meat

Nuts and Seeds

Brown Rice

Green Tea

Multi Vitamin

Herbs and Spices

Having this list with you and only sticking to these foods (and others alike) will help you achieve your six pack goal. Not only is it going to make you look great you will also feel great. That is the best thing about eating healthy and clean foods, it makes you feel brilliant inside. Processed foods like pizza, ready meals, biscuits and crisps alter your hormones and are usually full of sugar. Consuming these types of foods regularly disrupts how you feel, your sleep and your hormones so as a result you constantly fight with your body.

The above foods may sound boring at first but by introducing the herbs and spices you can flavour your foods to your taste buds. That is just a minor issue, if the title of this article means something to you, it won't matter.

Purchase these types of foods when you next go shopping and continue to supplement with whey protein to boost your results in and out of the gym. You are now successfully on your way to achieving a flat, toned or ripped stomach :)
